After completing the rebuild of the tender, work was started on the loco. A complete overhaul was carried out and finished off with matching paintwork and lining.

An extensive overhaul was undertaken on this loco after a few years out of service and finished off in our workshop. The loco has been finished off with working sandboxes and small detailed fittings which we believe make all the difference
7 1/4 0-4-2 Bagnall
A complete strip down and rebuild replacing some major components of this loco that had been out of service for many years including a new boiler, new water tanks, new smokebox and all new boiler fittings.

ABOUT US
The Hendred Locomotive Works is a small engineering workshop based in Oxfordshire. Having gained experience from building, running and maintaining miniature steam locomotives we can now offer our services to fellow model engineers including rebuilds, servicing and general machining.
The Hendred Locomotive Works has a strong interest in Narrow Gauge steam locomotives, adding extra details to the models it produces but still enabling them to be used on regular passenger services at clubs and societies.
